Hi to any who remember me. I dunno how much time has passed in here, but it been a few years in the outside world. Things aren't quite as hunky dory as they used to be, missus has come down with an incurable disease and I'm now a fulltime caretaker on *gulp* welfare. We moved to the USA for 15 months and then ran out of money and returned to Australia ... now in Brisbane.

Haven't got any of the books anymore, had to let go nearly all our possessions so that we could get back to Oz. The last one I read was Runes. So out of the loop I dunno even whether the 3rd series is all published yet.

Anyways, I'll attempt to drop in during moments of calm and see what's new around the traps.

And stop giving me that blank look!

Very sorry to hear of your troubles, man. But I'm glad you're alive and kicking.

I can't remember if we ever corresponded, but I do remember your time at KW. Feels like a lifetime ago now.

Wow this is a really wonderful and uplifting response. Covenant would have HATED it! hehe.

Thank you all very much for the kind thoughts etc. Yes I saw the book offer up there, not sure how I feel about accepting such a thing ... and I don't care about bestowing honour upon the giver (!) I just may not feel right about it.

I'll pass these nice messages on to my wife, who is kind of starved of compassion at the moment, spending time at doctors etc where such an emotion is kind of akin to that of the Haruchai.

Its the honest lealth.

I never want to be pushy but let me just make three quick points about this copy of the book:
1. It is not my main copy
2. I got it very very inexpensively at a bookstore that was trying to liquidate a lot of stock, and
3. I honestly bought it with the intent to give it away to a good home.

Oh and one selfish point:
It would make me very happy if you had it... :biggrin:
