The weekly Top-40 project

Ok, this is how it works: You take one week, and you listen to the radio as much as possible, and you pick 40 songs that you really, really like, and you post 'em all here.

My reason for starting this: The top-40's here are really stupid, and I just wanted to try this.

So, you can just start now (tomorrow would be better though, you'd have a full day) and start writing down your picks for the top-40 project.

Bugger ... I'd be in it, but, and I kid you not one bit ... I NEVER listen to current music, haven't for years. Whenever I want some music played I'll go and play some from ... umm ... a 'while back'.

Apart from that "It just won't do" song, and the "united states of whatever" spoken word thingy, I haven't liked a song for a year or two.

So unfortunately, I can't contribute

I used to keep my own top 10, 20 or 40 for a few years during my teens, though, so I can offer moral support

I listen to about 3 songs on the radio per day when I'm driving, and that's about it. I did hear Revolution at the store yesterday, and when I came home they were playing the same song during the football game! I'll try to let you know whatever I hear on the radio...
