Another old-school guy gone. IMO he was much better and more influential than the pie-in-the-face routine would lead people to believe. It sounds as if (unlike present day Hollywood divas) he really appreciated his audience and people in general. I hope that makes a comeback…

A classic! I remember when, iirc, the newspapers in NYC were on strike, and Soupy went on the air Sunday mornings to read everybody the comics.
