My winter meal... is sausages; potatoes; carrots and Sauerkraut, simmered in a beer broth, cooked on my wood stove.

Stumbled upon this a few years ago, when in the middle of a blizzard, the power went out for a couple of days.

My wood stove is NOT a cooking stove, so this pretty much takes most of the day to cook...but thats probably why its tastes so good.
I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time
