I guess there's only been one season of this on Showtime. Tara suffers from DID (Disassociative Identity Disorder), formerly known as MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder). Definitely not a typical tv show. And, since it's not on regular tv, it's very adult oriented. No nudity, but every word and sexual reference you can think of is in there.
I gather DID always arises for a reason. Generally, the person went through abuse as a child, and other personalities were developed to protect the original. The mystery so far is what happened to her.
It's definitely a fun show to watch. It may be more sensational than those who have DID would like, as I hear most movies and things are.

Me and my wife just recently started watching this show..its available in the on demand section for Showtime, pretty interesting show so far, another plus is that Chris in the morning from NE is her husband ... so far only up to episode 8 I think...the episode where her parents come visit and she developes a character who is

animalistic and Pee;s on her fathers side of the bed while he is sleeping, and her husband catches her.
