I guess there's only been one season of this on Showtime. Tara suffers from DID (Disassociative Identity Disorder), formerly known as MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder). Definitely not a typical tv show. And, since it's not on regular tv, it's very adult oriented. No nudity, but every word and sexual reference you can think of is in there.

I gather DID always arises for a reason. Generally, the person went through abuse as a child, and other personalities were developed to protect the original. The mystery so far is what happened to her.

It's definitely a fun show to watch. It may be more sensational than those who have DID would like, as I hear most movies and things are.

I love this show - any idea when the next season starts? I've heard that there many be another personality surface this year...

No idea about the next season. 2010 isn't much of a hint for us. Heh.

I saw the pilot episode online, and would like to see more. I am such a fan of Toni Collette.
