Could Wild Magic Permanently Destroy a Raver?
Working my way through the First Chronicles.
I just finished the part where Triock-Raver captures Covenant. Throughout the scene, he's paranoid that Covenant will strike him down with the Wild Magic.
Do you think that Covenant could have used his ring to finish the Ravers once and for all?

Unsure, definitly the raver would be paraniod of the destruction of their host. Definitly the Power of Command would not neccerily destroy them and WG is not neccerily more powerfull than the POC
If we all follow Berek's code of warriors then the world would be full of the worst warriors imaginable.

In the first chronicles, I think Covenant had the power to destroy a raver ... but not the know-how nor the sensitivity. I feel that the raver would have evaded his efforts, leading to the attempt backfiring on Covenant.
Certainly Covenant would have had to destroy the person being possessed at the time. Not sure he could have done it, even if it was a cavewight or an urvile and not someone he cared for.

First of all, you get the prize for most creative spelling of (what I assume is) the word necessarily. But yes, WG is most definitely more powerful than the POC. POC can't mess with things that are, or come from, outside of the AoT. WG can do what it wants to Foul (who comes from outside the Arch), rip the Arch to shreds, and then everything else it runs into.

Wild Magic can do anything the weilder is potent enough to do, however it cannot exterminate Foul, he just comes back, if Nom could rend a raver Im sure wild magic could do the same, however I think that the repercusion of noms rending are still to come. I recall the ravers were nealy undone by the ROD and cowered in the bowals of mount thunder after WGW I imagin containing the spirit of a raver in a sphere of wild magic till it expires
