So what exactly happened after White Gold Wielder?

Post by aTOMiC »

After just completing the second chronicles for the 3rd or 4th time, I'm left thinking about...
Spoiler
what must have happened to the Land after Linden returned to her real world body.

The Giants have been restored to health. Pitchwife had his deformity stripped away. He and the First are set up for a very happy ending. Of course they have to win their way through the catacombs of Mount Thunder and out into the newly restored Land. The First has pledged to take the new staff of Law to Sunder and Hollian. "...for they will have need of it." Of that I am certain. After that I imagine the two giants will make their way back to seareach and hopefully be reunited with the crew of Starfare's Gem. Will they simply head back home or do the Giants have unfinished business in the Land? Hmmm...

The Haruchai have pledged their service to the people of the land. To protect and serve Revelstone, which I'm certain they must have done. Will they introduce the remaining people to Kevin's wards? Will a new council of Lords be created? (I would like to think so, however I suspect SRD would choose otherwise.) Hmmm...

How long before the Land is faced with another crisis? Do the Ranyhyn and Ramen return? Are the Waynhm and Ur-viles restored? Is there a need for new Forestal? Can the Forests be restored? Hmmm...

Sunder and Hollian must have a pivotal role in all of the speculating I've done above. Are they required to remain in Andelain or are they free to roam the land now that the earthpower and law has been restored? If so will Sunder become the next leader of the people of the Land? Hmmm...

All I know is that the people of the Land construct huge stone statues of Linden and Covenant, along the Soulsease just outside Mount Thunder. Like the ones along the river in Lord of the Rings. And in the same pose as in the Kevins Watch banner graphic.

You seem to be obsessed by the greetings of the Land. Maybe you should start a thread on the subject.

I think I will. As soon as my hands recover from trying to mimic the Giant's Caamora. :x :screwy:
