Right now I can't stop listening to John Rzeznik's "I'm still here" It's not like anything I usually listen to... but it's just so GOOD!

What are you hooked on right now?

Is Rzeznik the Nine Inch Nails dude? I like him. I guess the only song I'm really attached to right now would be "Sober", by Tool. I downloaded it recently to get a taste for what they were like. All I can is "wow"!

You're thinking of (Trent) Reznor, Foul. Haha, Sober's what got me hooked, too.

Right now I think it's The Nurse Who Saved Me by A Perfect Circle... though come to find out it's actually by a band called Failure, who I am really digging (thank you internet!).
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

The new Matchbox 20 song..... I went on a short holiday last weekend to a small country town in NSW called Inverell and stayed with a friend on his sheep property. I drove there and during my 4 1/2 hour journey that song played 6 times on different radio stations. Needless to say, i was humming and singing the song the entire weekend, but do you think I know the name of it???????????

Also..... do you think I have heard it since ????????? NAH!!!!!!!! and I absolutely LOVE the song :((

House of Mirrors or something, by the Distillers. It's on a compilation cd. It's ok, I'm just fascinated by her voice 8O

Tell Me Ten Words by Idlewild, they've really come of age on that last album.

Magdelena by A Perfect Circle. In preparation for seeing them live last Sunday, I broke out Mer De Noms for the first time in a while, and then i was singing Magdalena all weekend...

I sell
My soul
And my self-esteem
A dollar at a time
For one chance
One kiss
One taste of you
My Magdalena

Great song, second only to "Sleeping Beauty" on that album. If my interpretation's correct, about a stripper.
