Why wasn't Triock.....

Among Thomas' dead, I really don't get it. Thomas screwed his life up in a big way, more than anothers I believe, so how come Triock didn't come among Lena, Trell, Lena's mother (whose name I knoe not how to spell)?

I wondered this aswell...

hmmm... maybe it had to do with how strongly Covenant felt towards the his dead, and not to do with how much he changed their lives.

I feel he felt a lot for Triock, more than he did for Trell. And Thomas does say that he thinks Triock has got more reason to hate him than anyone else.

Then maybe, even after 4000 years Triock still hated TC too much to visit him in andelain...

I'm guessing there were a great many spectres that were absent. Triock was a pivotal character to be sure. I think Andelain would have been over run with Covenant's dead if they were all represented. I think SRD picked a few and was content.

Maybe only those who had something of value to give him apeared, maybe triock didn't appear 'cos he beared no gift...

Triock was busy planning a surprise birthday party for Kevin Landwaster the first time TC stopped by, and was still picking up beer cans and Taco Bell burrito wrappers the second time TC stopped by.

i always put it down to the fact that lena, trell and atairan came as a family, and triock just wasn't part of that family...

and the fact that triock hated covenant with a passion.... there really was no reason for him to visit TC.

Thomas was linked to those 3 moreso than any other person during his time in the Land...he raped lena, was the cause of Atiaran's death, drove Trell insane enough to hurt the stone which he valued so much...and Elena was his kid...Foamfollower was his best friend and was affected quite a bit by Covenants friendship...i cant remember if Bannor was there...if he was, then it was because he was his protector...

Triock was indirectly affected by Covenants deeds...as far as i understood it, only the onces closest to you would appear...which is why Linden didnt go in, and why...i think it was Elena...said that it was better that she not go in, because of her parents..
