Oh man, I can't wait! Been looking forward to this all year. Started re-reading FR on Friday and finished "Sons" last night. So good...

I'm getting AATE through Amazon.ca and the distribution center is just south of me. Should get it tomorrow. Woo hoo! :D

Man, it's been a long time since I've posted anything..... :?

I'm such a loser, I ordered an e-copy of it from B&N so that I could get it before 10:00am tomorrow. Midnight, suckas! 8)

This is a first, just pre-ordered the 13th via standard Amazon shipping. Expected date was listed as the 22nd to the 27th.
And guess what just showed up in my box, my precious! Mon the 18th, 11:40AM. Time to go roll around in fresh book scent!

I share your pain. I woke up this morning to an email from Amazon that my Kindle order is ready to be auto-delivered... but I can't connect to the Whispernet service at home (no signal here). Have to wait till I drive in to work to get it :)

Mine came in the mail today. Pre-order Amazon, and loving wife who ordered it for me, THANK YOU! (Oh yeah, might as well thank that Donaldson fellow, too. :) )

Now, I've got to decide on a beer special enough to accompany me on this journey.

I got mine yesterday (one day early - from amazon), but only had time to read the recaps and chapter 1 (which I had already read online). Hopefully will have time for a couple more chapters tonight.

I got mine today at my local Borders.

And.....it was really depressing.
Just a stack of 4 books almost lost amid a table full of other books.
And by "other" books I mean "stupid".

I remember the glory days of the One Tree when there were big free standing card-board displays holding dozens of copies of the OT accompanied by an assortment of his other works like gifts below a Christmas Tree.

Now, god damn it........I had to ask for help because I couldn't find it on the New Release tables.....f#ck.

That's quite possibly sadder than any two-word story Covenant himself could tell. :(
