brain fart

Post by lorin »

I have drawn a blank. What is the name of the movie made probably in the late 60's / early 70's about a particle at comes from outer space on a space probe? It contaminates and kills an entire town except a screaming baby and an old alcoholic. The movie is about finding and killing the organism.

It was a great movie, quite famous and I cannot for the life of me remember the name of it.

I just looked it up on Netflix. I didnt know they did a remake in 2008. Can't see how it could be as good as the original.

The remake just aired for the second time on NZ TV. It was entertaining, but didn't go beyond a fun distraction for me. Never seen the original. I take it you'd recommend looking it up?
