The fight scenes with Darth Maul; any scenes with Naboo spacecraft, and the finale battle scenes with the Naboo in the castle (?)

Actually my favorite part when I first watched the film, was how cool the jedi seemed to be after the Federation dudes tried to gas them. I was very impressed and excited with what they could do until the destroyer came along and ruined everything.

Yeah. I had a friend that saw the movie, and wondered why they didn't show where Maul landed. He hadn't noticed that he had been cut in half!

I agree with two from above - 1) Fighting Darth Maul 2) Jedi escaping from gas-filled room 3) Jar-Jar's sudden violent death....well, I can dream

The Lightsaber duel b/w Maul and Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan is the best scene, w/o any doubt. But it could've been so much better. Imagine, for a moment, that Maul's use of a double blade light saber had never been included in the teaser trailer/full trailer. Can you imagine the surprise, if not shock, in the audience when he brought that bad boy out? I was at the midnight showing at a theater outside of Memphis, TN, and I can tell you that that theater would have EXPLODED at that instant! So, I've always believed that Lucas made a huge mistake by revealing the double blade light saber in the teaser trailers.

No, but he was on pretty serious lukemia medication that seemed to mess with his eyesight. We called him Mr. McGoo all the time. Unfortunately, he died before Epi II came out. I would have loved his questions about the Yoda fight...

Would have to be the big light saber fight at the end...I could have gladly skipped most of the rest of the movie... :? (especially the Jar Jar parts) :?

Yes, for me the lightsaber match was the highlight as well. It was good to see Obi-Wan as a man in the prime of his life, ready and able to dish out the hurt to the baddies. (More lightsabers, less Jar-Jar! More lightsabers slicing into Ja--er, never mind.)

Also enjoyed the pod race. You may laugh, but I didn't have a problem accepting Anakin as this kid who could put together a mean racing machine. For the record, I liked Jake Lloyd as resourceful child Anakin here much better than I liked Hayden Christensen as clueless teen Anakin in Episode II. (I am not dissing teenagers, only Jedi teens named Anakin.)

It was also grooovy to see Samuel L. Jackson as a Jedi, whatever his name was, Windy Ass or something...Mace Windu, that's it!
