I had some ale(s). Three varieties: Hoptoberfest, Mighty Arrow and Flat Tire. All on tap at an annual biodiversity festival along a local river (we have three rivers, thus no surprise that there's an environmental group active in town).

And I will never regret this drunken thread! Blaaaaghhh!!!

Man, you Americans drink too late in the week. It was already my Sunday afternoon by the time this was posted. Now, if you'd posted this on my Saturday night....

Man, you start drinking way too late in the week. Monday nights the Rialto has free pool when you buy a drink :)

Representing on behalf of those of us who maintain a regularized pace throughout the week -- neither reaching LF-like excesses nor achieving the kind of lulls that cause the Rialto to need to offer free pool to those who buy a drink on an "off" day!

I don't get drunk on beer anymore. I simply overflow like a full keg before I get the chance to feel anything.

I"M DRUNK. Ha, you fucks! It's only Wednesday. Wait, Thursday now.

Well, most of the way there. Not fully plastered yet. But I've had probably a bottle of wine. I feel good. It's warm. :)

I was watching Dave Chapelle with my friends. One of them is an old old friend from high school. I love him deeply. No homo. It was his girlfriend's birthday a week ago. She has also become a dear friend of mine. So for her birthday I gave her tonight a copy of the 2nd Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. This was something of a sacrifice. I don't have a copy of the 2nd Chrons. But she is worth it, gorgeous lady.

I hear that- beer is for pacing yourself through a long long night. For quick but not overwhelming intoxication, wine is fine. :D

I become extremely drunk and giddy fast on cheap champagne. There's sometimes the occasional headache in the morning.

I always say I'm going to save half the bottle for mimosas in the mornings, but end up drinking the whole bottle instead. Sometimes I don't even use a glass.
