Do you think he'll have a larger role in the future books?

I do think so actually. I think that Dumbledore's plan to enlist the Giants' aid in the war against Voldemort will play a critical role in the next two books. And I think that Hagrid, Madame Maxine, and Grawp will be key players in swaying them over to the right side.

I think that the Giant population will be split in this. Because Hargid mentioned something about some of the gaints being interested in coming over to the light side of the Force....

Definately, It also keeps an opening for more Hagrid since they have almost played him out so far.

I hope they don't kill poor Hagrid, I was thinking they would come up with a way to exonerate him for the whole Tom Riddle thing and he would get to use magic agian.
