In Time
Never before in the history of cinema has the phrase, "Well, that's two hours of my life I'll never get back," been more appropriate. As the characters spend their screen time constantly trading hours, years, centuries of lifespan back and forth with the ease of a handshake, I couldn't help noticing that I could be spending my own finite lifespan doing anything else but watching this lifeless, pointless, emotionless, non-story. It's literally the most blatant reminder of the concept "waste of time" that I've ever encountered. Sure, I've wasted time in more pointless ways than this, but never with that process itself constantly calling attention to this fact.
