Crossover, chapter 1, section 1

Crossover Craziness

Author's Note: I didn't create Sirius Black or the Land, but I am responsible for some of the other characters. But I'm not responsible for their parents. Don't sue me.
_____________________________________________
Sirius Black must have been dreaming. He thought that he was lying on a stone floor, out in the open air, with a great lot of kids about Harry's age around him, muttering worridly.
"Do you think we got the right one this time?" a boy's voice asked.
"Well, this is at least an improvement. Last time, we got a toaster," a girl that sounded like Hermione, with an American accent.
"It was a very brave toaster. It tried to bite me," said a voice that couldn't be human.
"Oh, shut up, Kylan. No one asked you to help," the first boy said annoyedly.
"Well, Mr. I'm-the-son-of-dead-people, no one asked you to come along either."
"Stop it, both of you!" the girl growled. "In case you haven't noticed, he's waking up. We're going to have to explain this to him. And if he isn't the one we want, we'll have to deal with that too." She looked down at Sirius. "Can you hear me?"
"What if he doesn't speak our lingo?" the thing with the oddly flat voice and cornsilk-blonde hair said uncertainly.
"Are you really that stupid???" the other boy said.
"Whoah, three question marks? Gee, you ought to be a main character."
"I am."
"Shut up, I'm trying to get Mr. Girly-hair to wake up over here!"
Sirius had had enough. He sat up, tried to turn into a dog, and flew up into the air about eight feet. Then, he landed. "Argh."
"Maybe he's a pirate," the thing named Kylan said.
"I am not a ruddy pirate! I'm a wizard! What the hell am I doing here???"
"Oh, he's a main character too!" said Kylan, appearently overjoyed. "Three question marks!"
"Will you get over the punctuation?" the girl asked. "Who are you? I mean, what's your name, rank, and ability?"
"Look, Meara, you can't go around asking people stuff like that. Here, lemme try. Whassup?"
Sirius stared, highly disturbed that people like this had the ability to take him out of his own world, and bring him here to this... this gold-skyed, purple-sunned, Land-o-freaks. Then he remembered: the duel! Harry!
"Look, I've got to get back to my own world, now! Something very important is happening there! And I've got to protect someone!"
"What, there a Pink Floyd concert going on?" asked a new voice. It was the voice to someone normal. A normal girl, with a wand, and robes, and a hat... So, there were others.
"There are some things we need to explain though," the first girl said. "We can't get you back to your world. No one knows how. The only way that anyone's ever been able to go back is when the Summoner is killed, or dies, or turns to Dark. At least I think that's the way it goes. And, because there are, what, twenty-something of us in all, that'll make this very difficult. Mokkie might know, but I don't think he likes people from your world. The last one we got nearly killed him." She paused for a moment. "What am I saying! We haven't even introduced ourselves yet! I am Meara, daughter of Hollian and Sunder, the Guardians of Andelain. I am the Keeper of the Ring of Blue Fire. That blonde over there is Kylan Mirak, son of Cail of the haruchai and Lylah of the merewives. He has the power of Shadow Walking. That means he can astro project himself wherever, whenever. He's also got the Knowledge of the Sixth Ward, which makes him very annoying. That one over there is Avalon. She's the daughter of Linden Avery, the Chosen. Avalon also carries the title of Chosen, but she's been redefining it lately. And that boy over there is my brother, Salarin. He's the Keeper of the Staff of Law. See those two shadows over there? Those are Vain and Findail, respectively. They live in the Staff of Law, courtesy of Avalon's mom."
"I'm Sirius Black, I'm a wizard, my mother is an evil old bat, and my dad is just the same. Just to warn you, I'm a convicted criminal."
"So am I," Avalon said as if it didn't matter.
"You're in a place called the Land, and to be more specific, you're in Halosrain Keep. The sky isn't gold, that's just the Halo-effect," Kylan said.
Avalon proceded to escort sirius to a set of rooms, where he laid down on the couch and passed out. His dreams were full of blood and death, but there were no Dementors, so he was content to watch the blood-spattered death go by.
To be continued...

Not at all merinaz, my problem is I only log in here generally while at work, so its hard to find time to read a whole story. I am first to admit I don't get much chance to read the stuff people post in this forum, I mainyl have to keep to short and sweet posts.

But, since you were kind enough to whinge :), I'll print it out and have a look on the bus on the way home tonight.

Hehe well my printout cut off the far right inch of the text so I had to piece it together a teensy bit, but it was 99% there ...

Firstly, I immediately fell in love with the writing style once I saw "annoyedley". Top marks! We shall shortly commence a Merinaz's Obscure Words thread :)

Worridly was another, but I think that might just be a typo.

Great little story, very amusiating. Sirius is obviously the star of the show, top dog, if you like.

Special mention to the high esteem of the triquery!

Well done :)
