Trailer Park Boys

Where are Canadian Watchers of yesteryear, eh? I want to talk aboot this incredibly stupid but funny mockumentary TV show. Anybody seen it? You can find it on Netflix, but I have to warn you, it doesn't start to get really good until season 2.

My only regret about watching all seven seasons in about two weeks is that I did it at a time that random urinalysis prevented me from enjoying it on the level I should have.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

This was filmed in my hometown. I've delivered to the set a few times, and to JP Trembley a few times (Julian) and just a few months ago, I was at a bar with Rob Wells (Ricky) and drank a couple of Shooters with him.
Oh, and Barrie Dunn (Ray...and the producer) is my mother's second cousin.

I liked the first season a lot actually! The movies are hilarious.

Did you see the episode where they break into the Rush Concert to sell weed, and kidnap Alex Lifeson, who then teaches Bubbles how to play Closer to the Heart? One of my faves.
I thought you were a ripe grape

the kind you keep for a really long time

Just doing a few shooters with Ricky. No big deal.

I had to look that episode up. Season 3 episode 5. I must have skipped it. Situation rectified.

Halifax is a nice city. I'd love to visit it again sometime.
