Terry Brooks’ fantasy series Shannara gets its own TV show. Take that, Game of Thrones !

There is no set distribution deal just yet, but Sonar Entertainment and Farah Films have purchased the rights to the books and would like to start shopping around to various networks in the US very, very soon.
Well, we've seen what happened with the rights to the chrons.
I won't hold my breath...

Even though disliked the book, I think it probably will make a good tv series.
