Blake's 7

Just had a look at the website for the new Blake's 7 project and found out that Paul Darrow has had a falling out with the production company and has left.

Boo.

It doesn't say whether they are going to press on or not, but I was looking forward to the reprise of the great (aside from the effects, set, props, continuity errors etc) sci-fi series that I watched as a child, and inspired J. Michael Straczynscki to make Babylon 5.

Any other B7 fans on the Watch?

Blakes 7 was brilliant. Loved it. Servalan was a great villain and Avon was such an interesting character.

I adored Blake's 7!!!! Remember up until then practically the only thing there was to compare it with was Dr. Who and [/i]Star Trek[/i] and Lost In Space! What an amazing bunch of characters! Including the villains!

Years ago I introduced my then-girlfriend to the show and she promptly fell in love with Avon!

Yeah, I always used to be Avon when we played it at school.
The Liberator was such a cool ship too, even though it looked like it should fly the other way around.
I just wish they'd get around to releasing it on DVD, you can't even download it off Kazaa
