New, given up lurking
Like the majority of you I am sure, I have been waiting patiently for 'The Last Dark' so when I am suffering withdrawal I usually come in here to see if anything is being discussed.
Glad I have finally joined the community.
I first read TC in around 1983 and that was it for me - just hooked. I have to admit that I found the first two books of the last chronicles difficult when they came out - the loss of Thomas Covenant I think. I've reread the books - all of them a couple of times and each time am carried away to the land.
Now all of the books have a place in my heart.

Hi reuben59!
A post-lurking Welcome to the Watch!
The official welcoming party will be along shortly to greet you and offer you their assorted wares
I'm not sure that 'waiting patiently' accurately or aptly describes the state of many in relation to the perceived tortuously long-awaited arrival of The Last Dark.

Welcome to the Watch, reuben59!
Your story is a familiar one. It does not seem so long ago that I broke cover as a long-time lurker here, but it has been...oh, wow, guess I need to visit the Anniversary thread!
Anyway, may you thrive here and contribute!

Welcome Rueben59
Ya know, I've always thought this Forum was The Summonising, even called it that as recently as last night. Now, I finally notice there is only one "i"
