Two great men of television and the latter also of radio have died this week.
Great memories of both. David Frost hosted That was the Week That Was on which the memorable sketch with John Cleese and the two Ronnies was first aired - "I know my place" - about the class system.
David Jacobs hosted Juke Box Jury - I remember watching live the week that all four Beatles formed the panel commenting on new record releases. I listened to him on the radio just two weeks ago.
David Jacobs may not have been so well known in America with his greeting of "Hello there" but David Frost will be known across the globe.
May they both rest in peace. They both gave many hours of pleasure to watchers and listeners here in the UK.

I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order!
