Great clinching game. Papi was a beast, and Lester dominant. But my old Phillie Victorino came up big. Are you kidding me, 6/8 (career) in the postseason w/bases loaded? 20 RBI? That's big time. Both w/2 out last night. Awesome win.

Awesome day for Boston. Awesome day for Boston fans. Yes: Victorino. Also, Papi hit .733 during the Series, I heard. I mean, yikes.

That doesn't do credit to Napoli's beard. That thing was amazing.

I like Red Sox, especially because they've been on the losing end of things for so many decades, not counting 2004. But being someone born and raised in Missouri, I don't like it when the St. Louis Cardinals lose!

So, last year's World Series was kind of a bittersweet moment.

But this year, one rallying cry is now making it all better:
GO, KANSAS CITY ROYALS!

Nice to see Kansas City come back this year! The Mets, Blue Jays, and Astros: all tough teams to beat. But I just loved seeing the Royals win it this time around!
