I decided to write a poem about Lord Foul's origins, and I actually kind of like how it turned out. So, without further ado, I present:
A Look Into Wrinkled Past, Part One:
The Eternal Dreamscape of a Never-Ending Land
A Poem,
By
Josh Tolles
(Luxurator of in-flux crust eruptions)
A boy stands alone and sighs
Unwanted and unheard cries.
The deeper emotions buried deeper
Pray for an end, not fear the reaper.
Crippled cocoon hath buried a man
Transmorphing forced by forceful hand.
Deepest wounds will ever dig deeper,
Buried even more is the buried sleeper.
The day must come when the unburied will stand
And Foul’s lust for the unjust will haunt the Land.
If he digs to dig up banes, ever will he dig deeper
Because diamonds are forever, but white gold’s cheaper.

Especially enjoyed these lines:
And I'm enjoying the mid-line rhyme:
This one's intriguing:Shuram wrote:Crippled cocoon hath buried a man
Transmorphing forced by forceful hand.
Buried even more is the buried sleeper.
And I'm enjoying the mid-line rhyme:
And Foul’s lust for the unjust will haunt the Land.
"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor
"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."
-Elisabeth Elliot, Preface, "A Chance to Die: The Life and Legacy of Amy Carmichael"
