Yesterday I came across a great speech written and preformed by Charlie Chaplin. I had never seen it before and it really struck me, as the passion and truth of what he was saying was absolute. I'd love to hear any inspirational, sad, heart warming, adrenaline pumping speeches that you guys have heard. Post a link to a video, or even just write the words.
Here is my first entry, the Chaplin one mentioned above. I chose the one with the soundtrack, because it gives it that extra punch, enjoy. Don't judge it by it's first appearance.

I think this is a neat idea, Rau Le Creuset!
Plus your "Post Subject" intrigued me: "The power of words."

"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor
"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."
-Elisabeth Elliot, Preface, "A Chance to Die: The Life and Legacy of Amy Carmichael"
