Does anyone know when we will get a first chapter of Seventh Decimate?

Does this sound familiar to anyone?
I had this sinking feeling that I have read this plot suggestion on the back of some prevailing so-called fantasy books in recent months and years. Do you think that they went out of their way to make this book sound like everything else that is out there?
Then I got this thought:
Can you imagine what the Shannara novels would be like if SRD re-wrote them or had written them in the first place?
So, I guess I am less worried. If SRD delivers something that is at least as satisfying as the Augur's Gambit, then it will still be 5 times better then most of the writing out there.
Whew! Crisis averted.

Who care's about the plot blurb? It's the execution that counts. A simple story, told well, is a good thing.SkurjMaster wrote:I had this sinking feeling that I have read this plot suggestion on the back of some prevailing so-called fantasy books in recent months and years. First Chapter
Read it!
Pretty good. Begins some nice story framework. The ending was the best part since it seems to reveal that there is something or someone above the guns and sorcery.
Looking forward to the rest of it.

They'd be much better than the third-rate imitation of Tolkien that Brooks managed, no doubt!SkurjMaster wrote:Can you imagine what the Shannara novels would be like if SRD re-wrote them or had written them in the first place?.
By The Way, SkurjMaster, if you wanted to remove the question marks in your title, this could become the official thread for discussing the book when it comes out, and then Seareach could just Sticky it to the forum's top. Up to you and her, of course...it was just a thought, and we have months to go before it matters.
