Married With Children: A guilty pleasure?

Post by aTOMiC »

I remember distinctly back in 1987 when Married with Children first aired. I knew I was watching something politically incorrect and rude but I couldn't help but laugh. I faithfully watched the show during its entire run. I was given the entire first season on dvd for Christmas this year and I can't wait till they release the other seasons. I can't help it. Married With Children has always hit me just the right way. Al Bundy is one of my most favorite television characters of all time. I gotta root for the underdog even if he created most of his own problems. :-)

I think the show's title speaks for itself for the most part. Oh, and that it is another FOX sitcom. :-)

This show is so stupid and yet I do find it hilarious at times.. Most of the time really... Yes it is a guilty pleasure :P

There was a MWC reference in the last episode of Scrubs. JD and Turk were watching it and noted how hot Christina Applegate was.

ooh that sounds nasty!! LOL

I love Christina Applegate .. cos of MWC .. I watch Jesse when its on cos she's in it .. notwithstanding its inherent lameness ;)

LOL

Peg is awesome!! I saw an interview with her and she is just amazing .. She really wanted to have her music aired .. as she is a serious musician/artist .. but no station would take her seriously .. after MWC .. and thats a bit sad really

they asked her to promote her music with MWC references .. which she couldnt do .. clearly ..

thats not the sum total of Peggy bundy .. or whatever her real name is ;) :haha: LOL

anyway she's cool .. and then there's Bud :( ;)

LOL

oh yeah buck is cool ;) what outstanding comedic value he brings to the whole show ;) LOL
