Most Annoying Character of All Time

Post by duchess of malfi »

Which character in any movie gets on your last nerve???
Who is just so irritating you cringe whenever he or she appears on screen???

For me it would have to be Jar Jar Binks...

What's her name from Forrest Gump. I can't watch the movie because I want to slap some sense into her.

Sam from Lord of the Rings.
Oh, and all the characters from Starship Troopers.

All the supporting Hobbit and Dwarf characters from the LOTR films. In fact, Frodo too.

Forrest Gump himself is quite irritating.

Jar Jar, of course. Is there anyone who doesn't dislike this ill-conceived unintelligible gangly frog-monkey?

The Merovingian could do with a kick in the head, but I think that's intentional.

Any Hugh Grant character.

You are mad! Or a servant of Jeroth! I love the Merovingian! "It's like wiping your arse with silk, I love it." He's a wicked character!

Any movie with Stephen Seagal, Sylvester Stallone, or Sharon Stone as the star. The dreaded "SS" movies, for short.

Sylvester Stallone said he's had so many injuries that when he gets up in the morning it sounds like "a symphony of walnuts." I've liked him ever since.

My grandfather thinks just about every movie star that is billed as an "action star" is a joke/wimp--except Bruce Willis and Mel Gibson.

Energetic actor who has appeared in a number of movies both major and minor, who after 10 years onscreen gained recognition for his performance as Sheriff Dale "Hurricane" Dixon in the "sleeper" One False Move (1992). Paxton began as a set dresser on several B movies (starting with Roger Corman's Big Bad Mama), then studied acting and earned roles in the low-budget Mortuary (1981) and Night Warning (1982). He then scored parts in such grade-A fare as The Lords of Discipline (1983), Streets of Fire and The Terminator (both 1984), and received critical notice as the obnoxious brother in Weird Science (1985), and as the hysterical soldier Hudson in Aliens (1986). Paxton was featured in the vampire film Near Dark (1987), as well as Pass the Ammo (1988), Next of Kin (1989), Predator 2, Navy SEALS (both 1990), The Dark Backward (1991), Trespass (1992), Boxing Helena, Indian Summer, Tombstone (all 1993), True Lies Monolith (both 1994), and Apollo 13 (1995). He also directed the video for the cult song "Fish Heads."
