Big Wes and the Alan Kirbettes

Post by Worm of Despite »

Big Wes and the Alan Kirbettes have gone nationwide!

Well, they will.

Anyway, the following image below is going on the back of our album. It's the track listing and all, with pictures of the band members. I’m the one in black and white.
Image
Big Wes and the Alan Kirbettes are:
David Williams - vocals, guitar, sitar, drums, harmonica, keytar
Joseph Phillips - vocals, drums, sitar
Seth Hepler - guitar, keytar, vocals
Josh Rains - absolutely nothing

I may have played the most instruments, but Seth is the originator and the mastermind of the band. Our next album will be a rock opera about none other than yours truly. And don't ask me what a keytar is. It's basically where you hold a keyboard like a guitar and try to play it. Try it some time.

Also, I need to know if anybody here knows how to post songs on the Internet. I'd like to post a couple of mine and give y'all a link, so you could get a feel for the Big Wes. Also, in honor of dolphin-safe tuna, we used no amps during the making of this album.

Oh . . . Well, Seth and I are really the only active two. And we changed our name, since Seth is paranoid and thinks we're gonna get a libel suit from the guy who the band is partly named after: Alan Kirby.

Any old way, we changed our name to the Greased Out Cats. We stopped doing humor-rock (after two Big Wes albums we got tired of it). We're doing vocal-less, ambient stuff with sporadic electronic bleeps and the random backwards keyboarding. It's also loud enough to melt minds. But of course.

The next album is either going to be glam rock or rockabilly. Or maybe both. Glam billy?

Oh yeah, and if you use AIM, contact me at HackerXANT, and I'll send you something.
