They are both Sindarin elves, they both lived in woodland kingdoms, and they both eventually went over the sea to Valinor.

Err wait, wrong books.
That's a pretty tough one given that Tolkien pretty much abandoned the letter K when he decided that C could do the job just as well.
Actually, I think I just got it.
Kili the dwarf in the hobbit.
(only thought of the Dwarven angle because Khazad-Dum was the only K-usage I could think of)

I think he was "Tulkas the Valiant" in one story or other. What's Valiant in Quenya? If only I'd paid more attention in Elvish class!
