Can't wait for Season 3 myself. Hopefully it IS still happening. I had heard Ryan Murphy (series creator) was going to ditch the show after Season 2, then I heard later on that he was definitely coming back for at least 2 more seasons. With the cliffhanger they left at the end of Season 2, they'd BETTER bring it back....
