Surely we have anime fans...we could take a poll!

I like anime, but I think it might be a little too specialized of a category. Not that I'd be against it, though.

Hmm... I have a small interest in anime, but I do not think there is enough interest at KW for a forum devoted to it.

I love anime as much as the next nerd, but I don't think it merits it's own forum.
The reality is in this head. Mine. I'm the projector at the planetarium, all the closed little universe visible in the circle of that stage is coming out of my mouth, eyes, and sometimes other orifices also.

Aughhh, with the flashing lights and the gaping mouths and huge eyes and frames that hardly ever move... it hurts my brain.

Bah, I think so too. I agree with Murrin. I don't think we have enough fans for it.

only anime I ever watched was Dragonball Z. I enjoyed it but the slowness of the plot would get on my nerves, they'd get hardly anything done each episode, it all moved so slowly.

Heh, true, but the plot's not really the point of DBZ. It's like pr0n (or H3nta1 ... hah!), but with fighting instead of...
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
