The T-Shirt Poll! Vote For Your Favorite Saying!

Post by kevinswatch »

Ok. Let's start the voting. I've collected what I think are the better ideas from the T-Shirt topic and have numbered them into this topic. Heres the deal. We have about twenty to choose from. So...

Vote for your Favorite Three!

Yeah, so pick your top three picks from this list. The top winners we'll make into T-shirts (I hope). Heh. Please, refrain from adding new ideas unless you think the idea is very, very, very good. Hehe. Anyway, here is the list.

The List

*1. "100% Unbeliever" (Probably a Finalist)

2. "Don't touch me. I'm a leper."

3. "This is all just a dream...this is all just a dream..."

4. "Foul's the name. Desecration's the game."

5. "That's too easy"

6. "Be True"

7. "We Suffice"

8. "Leper, and proud of it!"

9. "Hellfire!"

10. "Nom."

11. "Groveler"

12. "Are you not evil?"

13. "I went to the Land and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt"

14. "I'm with Vain"

15. "Diamondraught. Made by Giants. Imported from Seareach. Drink responsibly."

16. "Do you rave?!"

17. "Think on that and be dismayed!"

18. "I'm not Berek!"

19. "Got Clingor?"

After we've all voted, then we have to worry about and deal with the actual production of these T-shirts. I'll probably be able to design them myself, but I'll probably ask for your all help as well, since they are your shirts, afterall.

If you have any comments or ideas for the t-shirts in general, PLEASE share them. I'd like all of the input that I can get, since I've never really done this before, heh. I'll try to set up the shirt site soon (hopefully tonight) so we have something to start with. Hopefully, by the end, and soon, we'll have Covenant T-shirts available for the Holiday Season!

Oh, one other idea I had. For the back of the shirts, I was originally going to put just the Kevin's Watch site address. (www.kevinswatch.com). But I think it may also be a good idea to put underneath of that

"The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, by Stephen R. Donaldson"

or something of the sort. What do you all think?

OK, so get voting!-jay

Oh yeah, my votes are,
1st - #2
2nd - #7
3rd - #16

"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Yeah...I know it was hard to pick only three. But I had to limit it somehow, heh. Plus, there will probably be more then three final shirt designs. I'll probably be able to make shirts for the top five or six.-jay

It may be asking a lot but on the t-shirts can we have shirts for men and shirts for women? I'm not talking about the saying, I'm just talking about the cut of the shirt itself. I don't know about the other girls, but I know that I would prefer to have a shirt cut for a woman. Men's t-shirts look funky on me!

I know that the site Cafepress does offer female t-shirts. What I don't know is if we'll be able to sell them right away. So it could be a possibility.-jay
