A quick thank you....

Post by Chrysalis »

Not quite sure if this is the right place to post this but just wanted to say thanks to the unknown people who have been kind enough to bestow white gold dollars upon me :)

Not too sure what merited this generosity but it helps to make one feel welcome-this is definatly a much friendlier place than some on the net and also much easier to navigate around and use, as well as being pleasing to the eyes:)
Anyway thanks again-although do not have a clue as to what to use the gold for yet :D

Click on "Shop" in the menu above to see an array of Land-related virtual items purchasable with WGD. All the real estate in the Encarta list is currently taken, but many knowledge & power items are still available in the Loresraat, and foods/beverages/medicaments in Foodfendhall.

To view any member's collection of virtual purchases, click on the "Items" link below their name and avatar on one of their postings. If you aren't logged in when you do this, the system will prompt you to log in before displaying the inventory.

Rev, you're too kind. I bet you forgot to mention that you only want their abject obiesence in return for your gift.....

Some of that was legitimately awarded by a mod for contributing a unique viewpoint to the Reed Stevens forum. And Darth, I think it's a good thing that you give something to newbies so they can decorate.

This seems as appropriate a place as any to ask: Is it possible for members who aren't moderators to donate to others? If so, how?

My efforts to identify and thank my most recent benefactor/ress(es) have come to naught, which leaves "paying it forward" as a form of thanks.

it used to be possible via a "donate" button. Unfortunately, abuse of the system by a certain member got it taken away.

I'm glad you opened this page, Chrysalis. I too would like to say thanks.
You're all wonderful. I've spent a lot of time here when I would have been otherwise bored and lonely while my kids are gone.
I love this place.

As I have thanked others before, I will do so again today. They know who they are for their donations, its been nice to have the WGD for the cooler icons and decorations and etc. It's a fun thing and getting a ton up front when I first joined as a fresh newbie, really makes me feel welcome, I am going to be posting at this site for a long time, cheers.
