I was just wondering at what age people started reading the chronicles. I read TWL when i was in i believe fourth or fifth grade. the next year i finished the second chronicles, and didnt read the first chronicles till i was about 16
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
-George Steiner
My first or second year of Junior College, so either 19 or 20.
"O let my name be in the Book of Love!
It be there, I care not of the other great book Above.
Strike it out! Or, write it in anew. But
Let my name be in the Book of Love!" --Omar Khayam
I think I was about 13 when I read the first chronicles, a little older when I read the second. I don't think I fully understood it then, though. I got a lot more out of it when I read it for the second time last year.
I was around twenty when I read LFB (it is still the only SRD translated to Hungarian), and then after one or two years I went to the US and bought the rest of the Chronicles.

I read the first set when I was 13/14, the second when I was maybe 15
didn't read them again for 15 years !! and am on my second reading in the last 2 years. - read the gap series in between, but will have a break when I finish WGW in a couplw of weeks - got to read Neil Young's biog.
I was 21 when I read the 1st Chrons; the 2d Chrons came out a couple of years later, and I read them as they were published, so, early to mid 20s for the lot.
I was 11. I finished at the age of thirteen. I didnt understand why things happen, or what they meant. but as I progressed and got older I understood things 20 times better
