Caam was the brave one, asking the first question. Actually, she asked three questions in a row!

Which was fine, because the rest of us were silent, trying to figure out how to say anything without looking like Fanboy. But it went extremely well, though there were some silences on our part. Tough to ask things, since he has answered so many in the GI, and lots of things we'd have asked can't be now for fear of spoilers. Anyway, he answered a bunch of questions, sometimes in amazing depth. He was always funny and animated.

And yes, Fire, I asked him. I wonder when the video will be available for you to see the answer.

OK, let me try to tell you what he said. First, he said that he didn't think there was ever a time when there was nothing left to try, no other alternatives. Which has been my argument - that he had to do the Ritual, because there was nothing left to try. But he said that Kevin's problem was in judging himself by the outcome. He thought too much of himself, worrying about being a failure, rather than simply serving. Mhoram learned that the purity of service is the important thing. As Foamfollower said in LFB, service enables service.

Thanks for asking him, Fist! LOL!! You know, if I had been there we would probably still be arguing about it!

I'm so happy you all got to spend soooooooooo much time with him! What a great guy he is!! Staying with you all and talking with you well after the "official" time had run out. He's so amazing!!

I cried when I saw the pics. It's so wonderful!!

It was great talking with you guys on the phone!! I'm glad I called!!

Yeah, I recognized Fist and Duchess and danlo and Damelon and Caamora (and SRD of course). Maybe I'll come next year.

I've been thinking about all of you all weekend. What a wonderful thing for everyone, to actually get to just sit and talk with one of our favorite authors! It's beyond wonderful...no words suffice.
