What's the coolest Biblical name?

Post by Baradakas »

There are lots of cool names; Malachai, Noah, Nebuchadnezzar, John (j/k).

I think Cain and Malachai are pretty cool, and Jesus is still one of the best. Which Biblical name do you like best?

Shlomo - (Solomon)
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

The reality is in this head. Mine. I'm the projector at the planetarium, all the closed little universe visible in the circle of that stage is coming out of my mouth, eyes, and sometimes other orifices also.

King Nebuchadnezzar ruled the ancient city of Babylon. He named Daniel as his principal adviser, who proclaimed that Babylon was doomed, but would rise again seven more times..... Very interesting story, really.

Lazarus was a dead man that Christ resurrected....

Gologotha UV? The Skull place where Christ was crucified.... Yeah, its a cool name.

I agree with edge. I happen to think Thomas is pretty cool. :D Doubting Thomas. Kind of reminds me of a certain unbelieving leper.

This is coming purely from an outsider who only has a passing acquaintance with Biblical stories, but I always thought Goliath was a cool name. Okay, so he lost, but never mind...

Artaxerxes, because it's got more X's than any name should be allowed to have. Also because he helped pay for the new walls.
