What's up with the censered black text?

Hello, I'm fairly new here, but I was a lurker for many months, and I'm having trouble figuring out why the text is blacked out? Then there'a a little spoiler tag next to it.

Isn't that the whole point of *Expect Spoilers*?

I checked the FAQ but didn't see the reason.
I don't want to step on any toes or waste my time if my post is going to be cut.
Let me know.

Some of us are posting who are posting in this particular forum are attempting to be extra cautious, and are covering some comments with the spoiler tag.

I say - feel free to post whatever you want about Runes in this forum. Let the reader beware.

It's just a matter of consideration. If spoilers are blacked out, you won't see them by accident. Anyone who does want to read the spoiler can just highlight the hidden text, and it becomes visible.
