Why is it the Women think themselves...

Post by Revan »

So much better than the men. It's so annoying. Nynaeve using the One Power until Domon, Thom, and the other guy all nod to her.

It comes down to one thing with these women (Nynaeve and Egwene in particular) Superioty. They love it. They think themselves, and their desicions are above than that of males. I really wouldn't be able to live in this world Jordan has created. And if I did, I'd be gay.

You've got three thousand years of Women being the true power in the world. Arrogance seems to run hand in hand with Power.

Well, Revan, women ARE superior, at least to you.

Well...sometimes, you have to admit, those guys SHOULD listen to the women more...but yeah...there's a lot of arrogance, there. The first few books aren't even so bad...just wait until you get further along in the series.

There were women in those books? I thought they were cliches!

I just dont know what Lan sees in Nynaive (however you spell the damn thing). The only girl I ever really liked in the series was Aviendha. Mind, its been a while, and I gave up after Path of Daggers.

Nynaeve *grin* I spent weeks trying to figure out how to even pronounce it...Aviendha rocks....she still gets annoying, though....but then, in those books, who doesn't?

The fun thing is how all boys/men just... accepts it. Sure, they grumble and whine some, but in the end just let themselves be pushed around. *grins*

I stopped reading in Book Four... and couldn't honestly go back to it for days. It was just... so annoying. And the women acting like the men they love means they belong to them.

I liked Lanfear.... I was glad she tortured Egwene.... even if it was only for a short time. :P
