The Oblongs ... Anyone?

Post by Metal-Demon »

Even though it only ran for one season (13 episodes), it's become a favourite of mine.

The absurd and irreverant humour is just awesome ...

Anyone else a fan of the ill-fated The Oblongs?

Only caught two eps. Pretty damn funny, tho.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

My girlfriend managed to tape all 13 episodes off The Cartoon Network before it was removed.

That turned out to be a very good thing, since we watch them quite often!
