At the end of Runes Linden sees Tc riding towards her. I was wondering what do you think would (will) happen to the ring she bears?? I mean if he is out of the past, then he still has his, or does he, to many time paradoxes to mention. Then if they both have the WG then does their 2 trump Joan's 1????
ORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR what if it is TC ressurected and he doesnt have the WG, does he claim his ring back??? I mean all the other books show that this is his by "birthright" (OK marriage but you know what I mean).
Just wondering???MAn it will be a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG wait

Yeah, you bring up a good point. Why not just pick up 30,000 Thomas Covenants from different points in the past & have them battle it out until they all destroy the arch by sheer numbers.Brinn of the Haruchai wrote:At the end of Runes Linden sees Tc riding towards her. I don't think that's the way it works. When Linden first arrives on top of Kevins watch the events that we're going to happen (her going back in time to get the staff) had already taken place in the future. That was one of the main things that led her to undertake it when she did. The Staff wasn't present in the 'now' so where was it? It was 'out of time' for lack of a better word. You might look at it as being trapped in the Fall that Linden was going to create that led them to Revelstone. Also the Demondin that everyone thought was taken out by the Ritual of desicration were trapped in the same Fall, just as they briefly existed when Esmer used a diffrent Fall to move them ahead to threaten Linden when she retrieved the Staff in the past.
So if that wasn't confusing enough. If SRD was to bring TC and the ring through a Fall from the past Linden would never have had the Ring in the first place. It would have ceased to exist from that point in time--forward until it appeared with TC riding up to Revelstone.
I don't think SRD could bring TC back that way. It would have to be at some point when TC didn't have the ring, and then he would have to go back to that time when everything was finished in the future so the timeline wouldn't be screwed beyond recognition.
So I really don't think that the TC riding up to Revelstone is from the Past in any way. There are to many various ways to bring him back without complicating the 'Time' issue further.
Now saying all of this dosen't mean that it might not be a TC from the Future! But that would be to Star Trek for me.
