Runes Review on Amazon.com

I have a quote that just made me DIE laughing:

"This book is for anyone who ever looked at their white gold wedding ring, and just in case, shouted "melenkurion abatha!" over it..."

Man up people! Did any of you ever do this???

Wow...I haven't even thought about this in many many years, but I am a little guilty as charged.

When I first read the First Chronicles, it was back around 1980. I was roughly 13 years old. I had been given a Christmas present from an uncle that year of a gold medallion, with white gold lining. A Scorpio (my astroligical sign.) Wow...white gold, it was like a gift from the Creator. Before reading the Chronicles, I was not even aware that there was such a thing as white gold. So...here goes my admission...

Remember...I was only 13 years old...

Every night before I went to bed, I would take the medallion, make the sign of the cross across my forehead, and say the (six?) words of power as I made the sign of the cross. ( know that there were 7 words of power, but weren't only 6 of them ever revealed? I may be mistaken on this statement, relying too much on memory).

And, my true admission is that I lost that medallion in 1984. I had a run of some bad luck shortly afterwards...quite a bad run of bad luck, to be truthful, and I (even at age eighteen) couldn't help but wonder if that medallion's loss had any effects on where how my luck turned for the worst.

And still, to this day... (?)

Pretty good attempt there, 10K. Close, but not quite...

Got some time on your hands, eh?

Drew Rocks!

But those 'coasters' are always hilarious.
