The Mirror Cracked

The mirror cracked,
and fell to the ground
A thousand shattered pieces
lying at my feet
Broken glass,
to match my soul
Shattered images,
A lonely, breathless heartbeat
A fractured hand,
to match my spirit
A desperate cry for help
as my blood drops to the floor
The mirror cracked,
and fell to the ground
When you walked out that door.
