Hi guys!
I finally read David B. Coe's THE LONTOBYN CHRONICLE last january. The three volumes are CHILDREN OF AMARID, THE OUTLANDERS and EAGLE-SAGE.
I found them original and quite refreshing. Has anyone else read them and enjoyed them? In my opinion, David B. Coe is a bright new voice in the fantasy genre. I haven't read his new series yet, but I've only heard good things about it. Any thoughts?
For those who are unfamiliar with Coe and his work, if you are interested I have reviewed all three book on my weblog. There is also a link to his personal website, where you can read sample chapters of all his novels.
THE LONTOBYN CHRONICLE won the Crawford Award, which is given to the best new fantasy series. If you're looking for something to read, I suggest you give that trilogy a chance!
Have a good weekend!

David B. Coe Interview
Hi guys!
Just wanted to let anyone know that the interview I did with David B. Coe, whose LonTobyn Chronicle I reviewed a few weeks back, is now available on the Gryphonwood Press website: www.gryphonwoodpress.com.
As I mentioned a while ago, I am now their book reviewer. In the current issue, you will find my reviews of all three volumes of Coe's trilogy. The print version of the magazine also contains my review of Tad Williams' Shadowmarch. Speaking of Williams, I will post an excerpt of the interview I did with him tomorrow on my weblog. For the interview in its entirety, check out the summer issue of Gryphonwood Press later this spring!
If you like fantasy short stories, feel free to peruse their website. Each issue contains a number of them.
