Hi guys!
I finally read David B. Coe's THE LONTOBYN CHRONICLE last january. The three volumes are CHILDREN OF AMARID, THE OUTLANDERS and EAGLE-SAGE.
I found them original and quite refreshing. Has anyone else read them and enjoyed them? In my opinion, David B. Coe is a bright new voice in the fantasy genre. I haven't read his new series yet, but I've only heard good things about it. Any thoughts?
For those who are unfamiliar with Coe and his work, if you are interested I have reviewed all three book on my weblog. There is also a link to his personal website, where you can read sample chapters of all his novels.
THE LONTOBYN CHRONICLE won the Crawford Award, which is given to the best new fantasy series. If you're looking for something to read, I suggest you give that trilogy a chance!
Have a good weekend!
