Died March 17, 2005, Murfreesborough, TN, cause of death long term congestive heart failure.

Born February 15, 1912, Cleveland, OH as Alice Mary Norton. Wrote over 100 novels, over 130 short stories, editor of many anthologies in SF, fantasy and western genres.

In 1985 Ms. Norton was awarded the Grand Master award by SFWA.

In tribute: What is your favorite Andre Norton book?

I think mine must be CATSEYE, though THE ZERO STONE and its sequel also stick in my mind.

Since, I'm trying to remember from over 30yrs ago. I know I read Beastmaster, and most likely Starman's son 2250. But don't remember specific titles.
