What did you think of the ST Enterprise Finale?

Talk about both the movies and the books.

What did you think of the ST Enterprise Finale?

I thought it was pretty lame. There was no reason to kill off Trip and the whole T'Pol / Trip thing was completely botched. It really shows that there are no more ST fans at Paramount's management.

Don't get me started......Oh okay.

As series finales go, Enterprise went out with a shiver. What the flock were they thinking? I was there to watch the series premier and I was there at the end but I'm almost sorry I was. Having a series regular die off in the last show is fairly lame but the labored, contrived way Enterprise offed Trip was annoying. All the gains the creative team made during the final season all went up in smoke in the finale. Perhaps Rick Berman felt the need to stick his nose in one final time. Oh yeah. To SHOE HORN the meat of the Enterprise story and relegate it into what amounts to be a sub plot of a re visiting a Next Generation episode is almost criminal The cast and fans of Enterprise deserved much better than that. BOO! HISS! :-(

I heartily agree with Cinescapes estimation of the program.

I look at it this way: Enterprise had one really good season. That's more than Voyager ever had. For 21 episodes, we had Star Trek back, something we have not had since the Dominion War ended. We know why Klingons lost their bumps and saw a Constitution class blow things up. The Berman-Braga fiasco is nothing more than a hiccup in the annals of the Federation.

I stopped watching Enterprise a couple seasons ago. Every episode seemed to have time-travel, and I hate time-travel stories. So Tripp died? That's a shame. Ah well.

and I hate time-travel stories.
You know thats not true, especially one envolvling a halfhand leper. ;)
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Full of the heavens and time.
