Correction: Now that I've been modified, it's impossible to tell when I was born. *gives a halfhearted "Yay."*

Sky, is there any chance that the fact that you vote for this in August is a co-incident? ;)

The 5th Day of October in the wonderful year of 1969.

BTW: I was under the impression that a males reproductive peak was acheived between the age of 17 and 19...at least biologically. However, like a fine wine I only get better with age. What we older folk lack in fervor we more than make up for in experience!
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. So it's like an RPG . . . Hm! How many experience points do you have?

If you are speaking with me, the you should know that I'm not an "RPGer". Whatever these "Experience Points" are, I doubt I have any. You don't bother to think, "Oh, there's a nice Khilian there, just waiting to be shot. Hmm, that'll be about 50 points I should think!" when you have a chance to shoot the effing thing. If you think, it'll turn around, knock you down, limb lock you, and bite through your jugular vein. :)

So, like I said, I'm not an RPGer. :)

I am not sure what you are getting at Meagan G .. i just thought it might be prudent to augment 'gift-giving' at the Watch .. and what better time .. than this month coming up ;)  ;)

and perhaps we could give it a go .. during the first week or so of that month .. cos its got that kind of 'gift-giving' feel to it .. ;)

Well, Sky asked, and that was the best answer. Less-than-family stuff has come up on the Watch before. It's just a link, anyway. Don't have to open it if you don't want to.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone! Sorry if I'm a little late in responding, but I didn't notice the thread until just now.

It was a good day, though I feel no different than before. The neighboring town had a parade concluding their town festival on Sunday, so I made a point of telling my friends that for my birthday they have a parade. I almost got cake mushed in my face for belaboring the point a little. :)
