The Land's Military
At the risk of sounding stupid, could someone please explain the military of the Land to me. I never understood the heirarchy of the military.
The King has one more move.

Hmm...let`s see if I can remember this.
The Warward of Lord`s Keep is the entire army, and it consists of several Eowards. (An Eoward has something like 200 or maybe 400 soldiers, can`t recall it exactly). Eowards are divided into Eoman (smaller unit, with 20-something soldiers). The commander of the Warward and thus of the entire army is called the Warmark. The second of command is the Hiltmark.
The leaders of Eowards are called Marks. One of the Marks are called First Mark, he/she is third in command of the army.
I cant remember right now what the leaders of the Eoman are called.
The hierchary goes like this:
Warmark - first in command
Hiltmark - second in command
First Mark -third in command
Marks (several of them)- commands Eowards
Commanders of the Eoman
The Bloodguard, I believe, are not counted as part of the Warward.

Yes, the Bloodguard have their own thing going. Their leader is called the First Mark, and he decides how many Bloodgaurd can serve alongside the regular fighters, as the bulk of the Bloodguard are reserved for defending the Lords and Revelstone. The "local" leader of the Bloodguard, in absence of the First Mark, is the best fighter -- as seen in the short story Gildenfire.
Hope I got this right -- I'm sure Fist and Faith can correct any mistakes I made!
