I am attempting to track down two articles that appeared in White Dwarf magazine in late 1979 and early 1980. The first article was published in White Dwarf issue 16, pages 8-10. The second article was published in White Dwarf issue 21, pages 8-9.
If anyone has info on where/how I can obtain a copy of these articles it would be appreciated.
Thanks.

LM, I saw one of those articles. It contained stats (and very bad illustrations) for ur-viles, Cavewights, and 'Seareach Giants' as D&D monsters. I don't know what the other article was about.
Unfortunately, rom, I don't know where you might find back issues that old. Games Workshop's article database only goes back as far as issue #100. GW just isn't interested in archiving anything from the days when WD covered other companies' products as well as GW's own. Actual hard copies of those magazines must be getting very rare by now.

That's right, Rincewind. White Dwarf is the house magazine of Games Workshop, publishers of the Warhammer series of games (among others). It used to be a magazine about fantasy role-playing games generally, but for many years now it has been exclusively about GW's own products. Many old gamers regret this and look wistfully back on the old days, when it was a direct competitor to Dragon magazine.
